We are thrilled to welcome our son, Cooper Riley Townsend, into the world! We welcomed Cooper into the world on February 13, 2010 at 1:31 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. He was a healthy 7lbs 7 ounces and 20.5 inches long! Our sweet boy scored a 9.9 on his Apgar test and is a healthy and happy baby!
Labor was a long 23 hours but fortunately the delivery was the easiest. I actually had to be woken up from a sound sleep for the delivery, can't beat that! We have had lots of visitors to come and see Cooper and we are expecting Grandma and Pops Riley this week and Nana and PawPaw Norton next week.
Thank you to everyone who has called and visited during this special time for our family. We are so happy to have a beautiful baby boy and can't wait to share our joy with all of you!

Welcome to the world Cooper Riley Townsend!!! We are SOOOO... happy you are here. We haven't had a baby on our side of the family for five years and I have been in charge of giving all the grandbabies for 17 1/2 years now - LOL! The kids are excited to have a cousin and I have been waiting to be an "Aunt" for a long time! Thank you so much for this joy Troy and Kaitlin! We love him so much already and can't wait to hold him.
