I apologize that it has been so long since our last post. We had a whirlwind of a November and I am now just getting to organize all of our pictures! We took a quick trip to Southern California the week before Thanksgiving and it was a fantastic first family car trip. Cooper was a wonderful little guy and did so well in the car. (big thanks to Baby Einstein and a portable DVD player!) We had such a good time and went to San Diego for a friend's wedding, toured the Pacific Coast Highway and stopped in Long Beach, La Jolla and Oceanside and then headed up the coast to Santa Barbara. We stayed in a hotel right across the street from the beach and a fantastic pier. Santa Barbara has great wineries so Troy and I had fun tasting all sorts of delicous wines. Yum!Cooper is 9 months and I must say this is by far my favorite age of his. He is Mr. Independent and is very inquisitive. He is very confident with his crawling and pulls up on everything. He will walk when you hold one of his hands and he is waving all of the time. Our favorite is when he is doing something he shouldn't (like pulling on the curtains) and you say "no"....his response is smiling and waving at you! Nothing like some cuteness to get you out of trouble. :)
