Blessings in Disguise

First of all, I am sorry it has taken me so long to post new pictures of Cooper and his adventures. We have been incredibly busy and I have been so bad about posting! Last month we flew to Tennessee (Cooper did fantastic!) to help Grandma Riley out after her surgery. We spent an amazing 3 weeks visiting Tennessee and took long walks in Westhaven, fed the ducks and did alot of relaxing on the front porch. While we were there we were blessed to be able to see Grandma and Pops Riley, Uncle Chris, Aunt Mandy, Uncle Brian, Madison and Carter. We got a surprise visit from Troy's family as well who made the drive up to Franklin to visit with Cooper. Thanks for coming up to visit Norton/Merrell family! It was great to see everyone and we had wonderful visits. As my mom was recovering, Memere was able to come down to visit with her 4th great grandbaby!! She enjoyed alot of Cooper time and was a huge help to my mom. We are so glad that Grandma Riley is healthy and has had a great recovery. WE LOVE YOU!! Cooper hit some milestones while in Franklin. He now smiles and coos all of the time and has "baby conversations" with us. He is much more responsive to Mommy and Daddy and Scout (especially when Scout licks his head!). He now sleeps through the night and goes to bed at 7pm and sleeps until 5:30. It has made such a difference in our day to day routine. I owe Mandy and Brian my life because they suggested the miracle blanket and it has worked wonders. I highly suggest this lifesaver!! http://www.miracleblanket.com/
I go back to work on May 10th and am not looking forward to leaving my boys. I love being a momma and it will be a difficult transition but one I know we can handle. Fortunately I work from home and my job offers alot of flexibility. Troy will be the stay at home dad while I work during the week. I love that we don't have to put Cooper in daycare and Troy will be able to get some good bonding time.
Cooper had his 8 week checkup and is in picture perfect health. He is weighing in at 13 pounds 6 ounces and is in the 90% percentile for weight!
Here are some pictures of our adventures! Enjoy!
