I know that it has been a very long time since I have last updated! We have been very busy finishing up the nursery..and still have some work left to do. We have started a new project, remodeling the guest bath, which I came home to one day after work! Troy was knee deep in tiles with a hammer in hand! I have to admire his ambition with this project, it is a monster! We have carpeting and shelves to put in the nursery and then furniture assembly begins. It is now crunch time as we only have 22 days left! We had our first weekly doctors appointment last week and they are now projecting Cooper to be about 7-7.5 lbs. He is moving a ton and we have more laughs watching my belly move and feeling for elbows and feet! Scout is extremely interested in the bassinet that is now in our bedroom and spent the first night sleeping by it and listening to the music that it plays. We hope that this will be an easy transition for him when he is longer the "top dog." :)
Here is a picture of the growing belly! Not too much longer! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our sweet boy. Mom is feeling good and getting bigger each week!
We have started the construction of the nursery which has gone very smoothly! We hired a builder who is helping Troy with the heavy labor and in 4 sessions we have framed walls and a closet and are now finishing the door frames. In just a few short weeks we will have a brand new room for Baby Boy Townsend! Thank you Troy for all of your hard work, we love you!
We had an amazing first married Thanksgiving this year. Troy was home and we spent the day relaxing and feasting. I even attempted a made from scratch pecan pie...still needs some work! We are so incredibly thankful for all that we have been blessed with this year. 2009 has been simply an amazing year and we are blessed with good health, jobs and fantastic family and friends. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
We have been graced with life's greatest blessing, a child. We are expecting and could not be happier! We have had an amazing 2009 as we became husband and wife and now we have the joy of a child to anticipate. Mom is feeling great and we are thrilled!
